FL@33's MICA residency lecture | workshop
Just confirmed: Tomi Vollauschek FL@33 residency, March 9th—14th, 2013. FL@33's Tomi Vollauschek is looking forward to be designer in residence in the MFA in Illustration Practice program (MFA ILP) at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD, USA. He will give a lecture based on FL@33's book Made & Sold and run a 3-day workshop inspired by FL@33's The 3D Type Book. The public lecture at MICA will be in exactly 9 months from now – March 13th at 7pm, with booksigning to follow. More info to follow.

FL@33's Tomi Vollauschek will be giving a talk at this year's CPH:typo*12 conference in Copenhagen. The theme is 3D type and appropriately our talk is called ABCDimensional: an in-depth look at selected projects from The 3D Type Book. The one-day conference is organised by Henrik Birkvig at the Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole / Danish School of Media and Journalism. Speakers: Barbara Dechant (Buchstabenmuseum, Berlin), Julie K. Andersen (Copenhagen), The 3D Type Book contributors Evelin Kasikov (London), Autobahn (Utrecht) and FL@33 of course.

type tart card project | fundraiser
Project organised by Wallpaper* magazine, Type and London’s St Bride Library. The exhibition Typographical Tart Cards took place at KK Outlet, London. After the exhibition the entire collection of over 400 signed cards were auctioned and proceeds donated to the St Bride Library. 22–29 June 2009

100 pieces of havana | exhibition
We were invited to create 1% of 100 Pieces of Havana – a one-off exhibition held in London 'showcasing some of today's finest artistic talent'. The inspiration for this project is the Havana Club Especial bottle, and contributors were invited to interpret the bottle in any way they like. 100 Pieces of Havana opened its doors for 100 hours only on 23rd July, 2008 in London's Dray Walk Gallery, Dray Walk (off Brick Lane).

graphic design festival breda (gdfb) | sweatshop expo
We were invited to contribute our very own (sweatshop-free) stereohype t-shirt range to 'sweatshop' – an exciting group exhibition on t-shirts from around the world. The exhibition (with its shop) was part of the first graphic design festival breda in the netherlands. 'Sweatshop' was curated by dutch studios kop and staynice. 23rd may–29th june, 2008.
