AIR LINES
These seven artworks by FL@33's Tomi Vollauschek are from Stereohype's button badge gift box of seven Air Lines containing badges from B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) Button Badge Series 20. They were created during the uncertain times of the Covid-19 pandemic and its various international lockdown measures and travel restrictions.
___ The Corona virus also grounded aircraft fleets, completely retired some planes and there was even news of dismantled jumbo jets having to be recycled for the value of their mere material they were built with. All this inspired Tomi to select details from his collection of airport photographs. The pictures remind us of a world before these lockdowns – and they let us dream about a time after all this, when we can here once again: 'Welcome – this is your captain speaking'.
___ The minimal and almost abstract badges and prints feature details of colourful wayfinding systems, lines and marks one finds on runways and asphalted surroundings. We all do miss traveling more. Maybe, in our case especially because our families are living abroad.

BUTTON BADGE MOTIF PRINTS
FL@33 developed a new print edition idea for graphic art label and online boutique Stereohype – the studio's sister-company. The edition is called Button Badge Motif Prints
___ The super-vibrant Fine Art Giclée Prints feature selected designs from Stereohype's ever-growing one inch (25mm) button badge collection. High resolution files of the circular artworks are enlarged to seven inch (178mm) and printed with love and vivid archival inks on a beautifully textured 310gsm Hahnemühle paper (portrait, 8x10" / 203x254mm). Prints are then embossed with a badge-sized Stereohype certification seal that FL@33 designed.
___ Since launching this latest print edition Stereohype already added over 500 artworks to its collection. The print series promises to quickly grow to be as eclectic as Stereohype's widely-acclaimed button badge collection that already features over 1,700 artworks by over 650 established and emerging illustrators, graphic designers, typographers, photographers and artists from around the world.
