TYPE TALKS | TOMI VOLLAUSCHEK, FL@33
Kindly invited by long-time friend and FL@33 / Stereohype collaborator Matthias Hillner – Associate Professor at A.R.U. – we were happy to oblige and Tomi made his way to Cambridge to meet the graphic design / typography students for an intense 'deep-dive into two decades of high-end graphic design practice'.
___ Subjects, mentions and anecdotes included experimental typography, the power of three, books, a bee, more books, an apartment 33, tower cranes, happy accidents, and Stereohype collaborations and button badges – lots of button badges – and a squirrel... There was even a raffle to win FL@33 / Stereohype goodies at the end. Thanks for a nice day in beautiful Cambridge.
___ The Type Talks Series is a mixture of virtual online and real life presentations by selected designers. FL@33's Tomi Vollauschek was sandwiched in between the amazing Liza Enebeis / Studio Dumbar and Stereohype collaborator Paul McNeil / MuirMcNeil – such great company.
